Physical Therapist Assistant
Duties:
– Provide patient care and treatment plans based on individual needs
– Specialize in general orthopedics, sports, balance/gait, neurologic conditions
– Apply extensive knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to carry-out effective treatment plans
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
– Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
– Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in physical therapy techniques and research
– Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques for at-home care
Qualifications:
– Must hold a valid Florida license as a Physical Therapist Assistant
– Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physical therapy
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively in a team environment
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
